Blog Porter is an end-to-end WordPress migration tool: analyse your existing blog, review the content, complete a one-time checkout, and import it into WordPress from one guided dashboard.

Your complete WordPress migration, in five steps
- Install and activate Blog Porter on the WordPress site that will receive your blog.
- Open Blog Porter from the WordPress admin sidebar and choose the platform you are moving from.
- Enter the public blog URL, or upload your Medium archive, then confirm that you own the content.
- Review the detected posts and complete the one-time checkout when you are happy to proceed.
- Start the import. Blog Porter creates the available posts, taxonomy, and media in WordPress, with progress shown as it works.
A note about SEO
Blog Porter preserves available post titles, content, publish dates, slugs, and taxonomy so you have a strong starting point for a content migration. A successful import alone cannot guarantee rankings: your theme, domain move, metadata, internal links, redirects, and indexing settings still need to be reviewed before you switch traffic. If an old URL changes, configure and test a 301 redirect to its new WordPress URL.
Blog Porter migrates blog content. It does not recreate a source platform’s theme, page design, ecommerce data, custom applications, or redirect configuration.
