Installacion

Installation:

  1. Extract the OneNote Publisher for WordPress plugin (wp-onenote-plugin.zip) to the plugins directory of the WordPress installation.
  2. To activate the plugin, login to the WordPress site as an administrator and navigate to the list of plugins. Find the « OneNote Publisher for WordPress » plugin and click on the « Activate » link.

Configuration:

  1. After installing the plugin, on the plugins list, click « Settings » for the « OneNote Publisher for WordPress » plugin.
  2. You need to setup an MSA ClientID & Client Secret. To see the step-by-step instructions for this, click on the link on the bottom of the « Settings » page that says « Click here for instructions to setup your ClientID & Secret ».

FAQ

I can’t see all of my OneNote notebooks when using this plugin. Where are they?

This plugin only supports accessing notebooks stored on OneDrive. If you can’t access your notebooks it may be because they are stored locally on your computer, OneDrive for Business, Sharepoint, or another site.

Doesnt' work

Microsoft guys developed this plugin one year ago and do not support even. Their screens in the instructions are old and do not meet current version of app set up. So it is impossible to set up it.

Formatting Nightmare

Installation was easy, setup was ok, and it pulled up my OneNote catalog correctly. The problem is formatting. The upload process favors the OneNote formatting over my WordPress theme's formatting. HTML tags were EVERYWHERE! I had to do a lot of work to get my post looking acceptable. I wrote a full review of the plugin on my website with some testing I did: http://michael.romaniello.co/onenote-to-wordpress/ This plugin has potential, but needs some sort of option to either ignore OneNote's formatting or substitute OneNote formatting for WordPress's.
