Front Page Exclude By Date


A basic plugin that excludes posts published before a given date from appearing on the front page. This can be useful if you want to « reboot » your blog but don’t want to lose all previous posts and break all links to them.


  • Plugin admin interface to select starting date.


  1. Copy the ‘front_page_exclude_by_date’ directory into your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Edit the options in ‘Settings > Front Page Exclude By Date’ and set the post starting date in yyyy-mm-dd format.
