Step 1
- Download the zip file
- Extract the contents
- Upload the folder
featured-imageto your WP plugin folder/wp-content/plugins/directory - Go to Plugins > Plugins, and activate the plugin

- Use this shortcode ‘[featured-img-caption]’ on your page/post content for caption

Does what is should do.
I just added a check in the code, i do not want the last post image in my sidebar on archive pages.

The plugin does what it is supposed to do, however, there are some errors generated that can be easily fixed by adding « global $post; » to the top of the plugins function « getting_featured_img ».
