Facebook for WooCommerce

Descripcion

This is the official Facebook for WooCommerce plugin that connects your WooCommerce website to Facebook. With this plugin, you can install the Facebook pixel, upload your online store catalog, and create a shop on your Facebook page, enabling you to easily run dynamic ads.

Marketing on Facebook helps your business build lasting relationships with people, find new customers, and increase sales for your online store. With this Facebook ad extension, reaching the people who matter most to your business is simple. This extension will track the results of your advertising across devices. It will also help you:

  • Maximize your campaign performance. By setting up the Facebook pixel and building your audience, you will optimize your ads for people likely to buy your products, and reach people with relevant ads on Facebook after they’ve visited your website.
  • Find more customers. Connecting your product catalog automatically creates carousel ads that showcase the products you sell and attract more shoppers to your website.
  • Generate sales among your website visitors. When you set up the Facebook pixel and connect your product catalog, you can use dynamic ads to reach shoppers when they’re on Facebook with ads for the products they viewed on your website. This will be included in a future release of Facebook for WooCommerce.

I've been using this plugin for more than a year. When we had less than thousand pcs. on our store everything worked fine, but after 2/3k pcs. the plugin started to synch in a wrong way (products in the catalogue were less than woocommerce). So we start to use another method do synch all the product but we still use the pixel through this plugin. My excellent review is about the support. We had an issue related to the "add to cart" pixel event and our "ADD TO CART AJAX" functionality of the theme. Basically the event was not triggered due to the ajax functionality. The support got our email and in less than 48hours sent a snippet that fixed the issue. The plugin needs improvement but the support is excellent!

Catalogue fails to sync properly to FB as per the settings selected on product pages within WooCommerce. Variable products sync the variation label, not the default description as selected in the variation settings for the plugin (whether that be the short description or the description). The only way I can currently add a short description that is not the variation label is to copy-paste the short description into every variation FB description input. If this input is left blank it uses the variation label. This is not ideal, especially for larger sites. Fixing this would make the plugin much more suitable for use.

A big thanks to Pit for helping me set up this plug in to get the most out of it. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was working properly and didn't stop until everything was running smoothly. I would highly recommend this plugin!

For years this plugin has languished and kinda-mostly-sorta functioned. Now (July 2020) SkyVerge has taken over development and support from Facebook. WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! I had an issue with some products not syncing from Woo to FB. SkyVerge support responded same-day. I'm excited to see v2 and beyond.
