Installacion

Using the WordPress dashboard

Login to admin panel
Go to Plugins
Select Add New
Search Advanced post slider
Select Install Now
Select Activate Plugin

Manual

Download the plugin and extract the files
Upload the directory « advanced-post-slider » to your wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activatz-la via lo menú Extensions dins l’admin WordPress
Check the « Adv. Slider » Tab created by this plugins for manage options

You will get slideshow shortcode something like [advps-slideshow optset= »1″] at very first section of every slideshow option set. Use it at admin panel post/page edit screen.

Use WordPress function « do_shortcode » for use in template or theme PHP file.

I have tried so many post sliders (carousels). They all were limited in function. Most of them were not usable for showing posts from certain categories only. Many of them were just advertising imploring you to buy their pro edition because the they gave you was a piece of junk. This one does so many things perfectly. It is also very easy to adjust in all respects. Thank you for creating this plugin. Rarely does a free plugin work so well and do so much.

Hi team, This plugin is awesome, its reduce my work for getting post slider. I really like it and I want to share my feed back with you, 1) Make the post category selection option on select post section. 2) On carousel: first time clicking on next arrow button its goto third post, not a second post. Thank you.
